AW8

AW8 is the brand formerly known as Acewin8, which says it was established in 2015. About 10,000 searches a month go to its name, which puts it 23rd of the 812 Malaysian casinos Gambelino tracks and 3rd of the 48 we track in Singapore. Its main site is aw8-asean.com, it runs in English, Malay, Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese, and its brand ambassador is the football legend Fernando Torres.

This review is based on AW8’s own promotion page and homepage, which we last checked on 18 May 2026, using the Malaysian (MYR) version of the site. We went through all 19 listed promotions, the banking and app details and the game categories, and compared AW8’s figures with the rest of the market. We haven’t deposited or withdrawn money, so nothing here is a claim about payout speed or how support handles problems.

Two welcome offers, worked through

AW8 listed two separate welcome bonuses when we checked.

The first is a 150% Welcome Bonus on your first deposit, capped at MYR 1,500. In ringgit:

First deposit	Bonus at 150%	Total to play with
MYR 100	MYR 150	MYR 250
MYR 500	MYR 750	MYR 1,250
MYR 1,000	MYR 1,500 (the cap)	MYR 2,500

Anything you deposit above MYR 1,000 earns no extra bonus, because MYR 1,000 × 150% already reaches the MYR 1,500 cap.

The second is a 208% Welcome Bonus spread across your first three deposits, with up to MYR 500 extra per deposit. AW8’s listing doesn’t spell out exactly how the 208% is applied. If it is 208% of each qualifying deposit, then, as an illustration only, a deposit of about MYR 240 would already reach the MYR 500 cap, and three capped deposits would add up to MYR 1,500 in bonus. Confirm how it works in the terms before you rely on that reading.

Neither offer showed a turnover multiple in our record. That number, how many times you must bet the bonus (or deposit plus bonus) before withdrawing, decides what a bonus is really worth. As an illustration only: at x20 on deposit plus bonus, a MYR 100 deposit with the 150% bonus would mean MYR 5,000 in bets before you could cash out. Our guide to how bonuses work explains the maths. AW8 also didn’t say whether the two welcome offers can be combined, so assume you pick one until the terms say otherwise.

New members could also claim 200 free spins on registration (listed as “Free 200 Points to Spin”), an app-exclusive bonus of up to MYR 188 for downloading the AW8 app, and Fortunate Ang Pao, a random red-packet drop across slots, casino and sports. The amounts in the red packets aren’t stated.

How it compares

Gambelino’s records use AW8’s 208% figure as its welcome percentage. Of the 812 Malaysian casinos we track, 404 publish one; the median is 50% and AW8 ranks 31st. In Singapore, 26 of 48 casinos publish one; the median is 150% and AW8 ranks 9th. A big headline percentage spread over three deposits is not the same as a big single match, and a high percentage often comes with heavier terms, so read this ranking as a reason to check the terms, not as proof of value.

After the welcome: 19 promotions

AW8 listed 19 promotions in total, above the Malaysian median of 15 and well above the Singapore median of 9.5. Leaving aside the new-member offers above, they fall into four groups.

VIP perks

• VIP Transfer Plan: transfer your VIP level from another gaming platform straight to AW8. We hadn’t seen this offered by any other brand we track. What proof AW8 asks for isn’t stated.
• VIP Upgrade Bonus: up to MYR 3,888 when you move up a VIP tier.
• VIP daily withdrawal limit: listed at MYR 1,000,000 or more a day, for VIPs only.
• 1% Instant Rebate: an instant rebate for VIP members.

Reloads and rebates

• Daily Reload Bonus: up to 20% on a daily top-up for slots.
• Unlimited Reload Bonus: up to 20%, for Mega888 and 918Kiss.
• 4D Rebate: up to 10% on 4D lottery, the highest rebate AW8 lists.
• Weekly Rescue Bonus: up to MYR 3,888 a week.
• Crypto Deposit Bonus: up to MYR 888 for depositing in crypto.

Our comparison tables use the 10% 4D rebate as AW8’s rebate figure, which ranks 6th of 238 Malaysian casinos that publish one (median 5%) and 2nd of 20 in Singapore (median 1.1%). Keep in mind it applies to 4D, not to everything you play.

Sports and streak offers

• 100% Cashback: First Game On Us: 100% cashback on your first sports bet. A cap isn’t stated.
• Soccer Prosperous 8 Lucky Streak: win 8 soccer bets in a row for an extra MYR 1,888.
• Live Baccarat Prosperous 8 Lucky Streak: the same MYR 1,888 for 8 straight baccarat wins. Eight wins in a row is rare, so treat both streaks as long shots.

Referral and birthday

• Referral Bonus: up to MYR 5,888 per successful invite.
• Birthday Gift: up to MYR 3,888.

Several of these reward how much and how often you bet (streaks, rescue, VIP upgrades). Set a budget before you start and only claim what fits it.

Licence and who runs AW8

AW8 doesn’t publicly display a licence on its homepage, and our record doesn’t name an operating company. That leaves no way to check which regulator, if any, oversees it. Even where a casino does show an offshore licence, that licence doesn’t make online gambling legal in Malaysia or Singapore.

What AW8 does disclose is its history (founded in 2015 as Acewin8), its standalone status (it isn’t part of a partnership network) and its ambassador, Fernando Torres. A famous face shows marketing spend; it tells you nothing about how a casino treats individual players.

Game line-up

AW8 covers a wide set of categories: live casino, sports, e-sports, slots, fishing, lottery (including 4D), poker, 3D games, cockfight, fast games and TV games.

The record names few providers. Mega888 and 918Kiss appear in the reload promotions, and baccarat and soccer are the featured games behind the streak offers. Beyond that, the studios behind AW8’s live casino and slots weren’t listed in what we checked, so look through the lobby yourself if a particular provider matters to you.

Banking

• Deposits: bank transfer, e-wallet and crypto.
• Withdrawals: a VIP daily limit of MYR 1,000,000 or more is listed; limits for regular players aren’t stated.
• Minimum deposit and withdrawal: not stated publicly. For context, the median published minimum deposit among Malaysian casinos is MYR 5.
• Processing time: not stated.

Before your first deposit, find the minimum withdrawal, any withdrawal limits and the processing time in your account, and keep a note of them. Our deposits and withdrawals guide covers what else to check.

App and support

AW8 offers Android and iOS apps and an APK download, and pays an app-exclusive bonus of up to MYR 188 for installing it. Our record doesn’t describe app features beyond that.

Support is through live chat. We couldn’t confirm Telegram, WhatsApp or an email address, so save screenshots of any chat about deposits, bonuses or withdrawals.

Our take

AW8 is a well-known brand with a long promotions list, two welcome offers, a strong 4D rebate and an unusual VIP Transfer Plan that may appeal to players who already hold VIP status elsewhere. It supports crypto and has apps on both major platforms.

The gaps are significant. There is no licence or operator on show, and the details that decide a bonus’s real value (turnover multiples, how the 208% offer is split, minimum deposit and payout times) weren’t public when we checked. If you consider AW8, read the full terms for any bonus before claiming it, confirm the banking limits in your account, and remember that the streak and VIP offers are built to keep you betting.
